Class Description:
This year we will delve into castles, kings, queens, wars, the Black Plague, and so much more! Students may use either Story of the World or The Story of Civilization as a spine for this class. After reading required history and literature assignments at home, students will participate in lively discussions of the material, do mapping and hands-on activities to enhance learning and bring history alive for the students.

* If you are also registering a child for Middle School Medieval History and Literature, they will share the same core history curriculum, and some of their literature options will align, particularly those marked with an asterisk. If you would rather read the middle school options as family read-aloud instead of purchasing multiple versions of the same book, that is a great option.
