Cost: $120/semester plus one-time $20 materials fee
Class Description:
This is a fun and interactive course, based primarily on Memoria Press’ Latina Christiana curriculum with supplementary materials. It is a wonderful way to build a solid foundation of the Latin language and prepare them for more rigorous studies in the future. The course goes deeper and is more intense than Level I. The goal is to finish the 25 lessons/chapters of the book, building vocabulary and growing understanding daily with Meaning and Form, with timely unit reviews. We will be following the Latina Christiana's sequence.
Workbook and Homework will follow the above lesson outline.
Quizzes and Tests: Students will be given a practice quiz/test each Friday to be completed prior to next meeting. Each of these are to be taken in pencil ONLY.
Grades will reflect the student's achievement through participation, recitations, classwork and homework as well as quizzes and tests.
Grades: 3rd-8th
**This class is primarily for students who have completed Latina Christiana Level I. Some exceptions may be made with parent/teacher approval.

Required materials: Latina Christiana Student Textbook & Latina Christiana Workbook
Five Subject Notebook: It should be kept organized. It will be graded for accuracy and neatness. Handouts for this course are to be kept in a folder (provided by me) unless the student is instructed to discard them.
All additional materials will be provided by the teacher. The material fee is $20 per year, and due on the first day of classes.
*All classwork, seatwork and homework are to be done in pencil. Neatness and proper spelling are required.
