Cost: $60/semester
Class Description:
In this class, players of all levels will have fun learning to socialize and also learn from each other, fostering a sense of community among other chess enthusiasts! They will develop/improve their skills in critical thinking, strategic thinking, decision making, concentration, self discipline, and problem solving, as well as enhance cognitive abilities, memory, and focus, which translates to academic success. Games are casual with friendly competition and organized tournaments.
Grades: 3rd-12th; Teacher will consider mature 2nd graders.
